Job Role and Title: Scientific associate (Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin) working as synthetic chemist in the production, research and development of reference standards and as quality manager for ISO 9001 and ISO 17034 regulated processes.
Type of Tasks: My tasks are divided in two parts - as a synthetic chemist I mainly work in the development of synthetic routes for new (often isotope-labelled) reference substances in high purity, whereas as quality manager I ensure that we work according to ISO norms, which is mainly related to ensuring that there is proper documentation of all the processes related to the norms, but also includes quality control tasks.
