The "Young Crystallographers" is a working group of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kristallographie (DGK). Anushka has been a member of this group since 2023, first serving as Social Media Manager before being elected Chair this year. The group is a nationwide community of young scientists whose research is strongly connected to crystallography.
After nine years, the annual meeting of the Young Crystallographers is returning to Berlin—this time hosted at a real synchrotron facility! The event aims to bring together young scientists from diverse fields—chemistry, physics, biology, mineralogy—united by their use of crystallography in research.
