"Optimization of H2-sensing regulatory hydrogenase production from Ralstonia eutropha in Escherichia coli” (abstract here)
Qin is an EC2/BIG-NSE PhD student from the WS17 batch. She is currently writing her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Neubauer, and is funded by a CSC scholarship. She comes from the Xinjiang province in China. She studied biotechnology at the Technical University of Berlin (BSc, MSc). After completing her master’s thesis at the Chair of Bioprocess Engineering of TU-Berlin, she has been pursuing her PhD study in the same research group of Prof. Neubauer since Oct. 2017.

"Systematically experimental evidence on proton management from phosphate buffer at neutral pH based on CoCat water oxidation catalyst catalyst " (abstract here).
Si is an EC2/BIG-NSE PhD student from the WS18 batch. She is currently writing his PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Holger Dau (FUB) and is funded by China Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarship. She comes from Yueyang, a city in the middle of China. She studied material science at Shaanxi university of science and technology to accomplish her bachelor studies, and then changed to Shaanxi normal university where she completed her master's studies in Chemistry. After the EC2/BIG-NSE initial phase at the end of 2018, she joined the Dau group for her PhD in January 2019.
The EC2/BIG-NSE symposium represents a new series of scientific presentations given by our EC2/BIG-NSE PhD students (see schedule of the coming months here). On Wednesday afternoons, two students give an online talk from approximately 5-6 pm (20 min presentation each + 10 mn Q/A). The symposium takes place online using Zoom. The access to the event is restricted to members of UniSysCat. The Zoom Link is sent to them a few days before symposium date.
