How does it work?

1. The Initial Phase

Students admitted to the center/school will first pass through an “initial phase,” usually of three-and-half months, to integrate the different branches of science and engineering and establish a common scientific language. The rest of the first year remains mainly curricular, with regular seminar and classes offered to the new students.

2. The Research Phase

After the initial phase, the PhD students join their research groups and start carrying out their individual research project.
